Pico de Orizaba

 Information

1. Pico de Orizaba (Puebla and Veracruz) - Altitude: 5.702 m. The peak of Orizaba volcanoor Citlaltépetl is the highest peak of Mexico reaches 5,610 m.  

Popocatepetl

2. Popocatepetl - Altitude: 5.452 m (Mexico, Morelos and Puebla). Still active, rises in the mountains Neovolcánica, southeast of Mexico City. Is the second highest elevation in the country.

Teyotl

3.Teyotl - 4,660 m (Puebla) - The volcano Téyotl is the oldest part of the Iztaccihuatl, making ita highly eroded summit.  
 
4. Cofre de Perote - Altitude: 4,250 m (Veracruz) - It is the remains of a volcano that rises in the Sierra Madre Oriental, north of Pico de Orizaba. The top of this mountain has a large bank homer eroded, due to which it is named.

Cerro Negro

5. Cerro Negro - Altitude: 4,453 m (Puebla) - Its name comes from its color, and emergedhalf a century and a flush of the plain. Born in the early morning of April 13, 1850, one of the most recent. 

Cofre de Perote

 

6. Nevado de Colima - Altitude: 4,450 m (Jalisco) - Your top is shown covered by snow for most of the year, while its slopes extending pine.

-The mountain of Pico de Orizaba has a length greater than Cofre de Perote.
-The Black Mountain is the most recent Teyotl.
-Popocatepetl is more active than Nevado de Colima.
